- Our server that is running this website is also donating its CPU cycles to the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC) project. You may have heard of the SETI@Home project that is analyzing radio signals from space to try and find signs of intelligent life. We also run the Rosetta@Home project (protein folding) to help find cures for diseases and the ClimatePrediction.net project to help study climate change. Anyone is free to run the program and donate the idle time their computers would otherwise be doing nothing to any project(s) of their choice. The chart below shows our earned credit for each.

- This server is also participating in Project Honey Pot. From their website, "Project Honey Pot is a distributed network of decoy web pages website administrators can include on their sites in order to gather information about robots, crawlers, and spiders. We collate data on harvesters, spammers, dictionary attackers, and comment spammers. We make this data available to our members in order for them to protect their websites and inboxes." To learn more about it, read their FAQ.
- Donated & setup computers at The Children's Home. "The Children's Home (TCH) of Catonsville, Maryland is a residential care facility that provides both long- and short-term services to youth 8 to 21 years of age who have experienced abuse, neglect, violence, abandonment, and/or are in need of supervised care."
